Today's outfit

Dress from H&M - 10€
Shoes from Føtex - 25€

The outfit I wore for school today. The shoes are brand new and it was the first time I wore them out, and... Bad idea. They were still kind of "hard", so I pretty much killed my feet! But I looked cute. And got a couple of compliments because of my outfit.

It was really hot outside today, so nice! But I guess it will only get colder and colder from now on. Damn...

On another note; I bought my ticket for the You Me At Six-concert today, so I'm ready! I can't wait!

Shopping with mom

Wednesday my mom and I had to do some grocery shopping, and we decided to check out some shops too. In Vila they had a great offer called "3 for 100DKK (13.20€)". So I bought three really cute items!

Oversized tee.
Skirt.
Shirt-dress.

A lot of stripes going on, I know, but that's modern right now apparently. And I've always liked stripes, so it's okay with me!

CONCERTS: My Passion and Kill Hannah

So, it's finally time to tell you about the AMAZING concert with My Passion and Kill Hannah!

-

April 29 I arrived at Vega at about 1.30PM. There were like 7 fans outside Vega, and only 3 of them were Danes, as far as I could see.
I sat behind, what seemed to be, three German girls and called Thea. She was waiting for the train in Glumsø, so she could get to Vega too. We talked a bit and I was like: "I feel so alone and emo!" When we hung up, one of the German girls looked up and said to me, in Danish; "If it makes you feel any better, I'm all alone too!" So she was Danish too! We talked for a while; I learned that her name was Maj, about Kill Hannah and such. I found out that My Passion, a band I had heard of but never listened to, was going to support them.

Some guys kept walking past us, waving and stuff and I was like: "Who are those guys…?2 And Maj said: "I don't know, I think it's the guys from My Passion." And yes it was. Nice, Shiny, so nice.

We began talking to another Danish girl, Rebecca, and I was texting with Thea and Ida. When Thea arrived I ran to her and hugged her. Awww! It was so nice to see her, even though I saw her like… 5 days earlier! We sat down and talked a bit, when the bands had to get their instruments and stuff inside. Of course, we were sitting in front of the big doors, so we had to stand up. Thea and I freaked a bit over Simon's hot ass. Really. Amazing butt! Plus, there was this guy (I found out later that it was Laurence, the leadsinger in My Passion) who looked like Chris Crocker. He had the Crocker-expression on his face, every time he walked past us. SO FUNNY! And they kept saying hi to us, all of them. Even though I couldn't recognize most of them.

We FINALLY got to sit down again, when I received a text from Ida. Apparently she was really close to us. I got up and ran down the street, like a freaking mad man, when I saw her on the other side of the road. I kept waving at her, and she saw me! When we got to each other, I hugged her as tight as I could! I hadn't seen her since July 2009! 9 fucking months!! We hugged and laughed, and we got to our spots in the queue. We decided to go and buy something to eat and drink, and went to Superbrugsen (ehehehehe). We bought energydrinks – Red Bull and X-ray – and biscuits.

Oh yeah, and we picked up a pizza, and when we walked back to Vega, Mat and his girlfriend walked right past us. When he did, BAM! Ida tripped Thea and she almost fell. Mat was turning his head, while we ran away, laughing! It was SO funny!

We just had a lot of fun, talked with different people and went to use the library's toilet several times. Even though it was kind of gross, after a man apparently had used it while having diarrhea. He said it to Rebecca and Ida. Nice enough. Thea and I had to use it after them, and it smelled like complete shit. We couldn't breathe through our noses! But else, the queuing time was great! I managed to make a fool of myself a shitload of times. Like, flashing my ass to different people.

We started standing in line, about 20 minutes before the doors opened.  It was nice that the fans didn’t freak out two hours before the doors opened. Mat came out and talked with some fans, but only for a couple of minutes. I gently pushed Thea up in front of me, so she could run in and hold a spot for me and Ida. I wasn't sure that we could get past the wardrobe without getting stopped, because I had a purse filled with stuff and Ida had a jacket.

But when the doors opened we got through, and we ran in. Thea was on 2nd row, but I pushed myself up on the 1st row, in the left side. We bought something to drink and just stood there, talking, waiting for the band. Mat came out on stage and filmed us. He filmed me and said: "How are you guys feeling?" And of course I had to say: "We're doing good!" In a really gross voice. Ew.

We waited for about an hour, and My Passion came on stage. I had never heard any of their songs, so I just danced and jumped along. They were really great, and I SO want to see them again! But I got kind of scared, when Laurence started whipping the stage with his microphone chord. I was afraid that he might hit me in the face! Plus, the guitarist, John, kept swinging his guitar and I was standing right in front of him. But he gave me his guitar pick! Yay! But they were good. I liked them. Simon was amazingly hot.

My Passion got off stage and we waited for a while. They covered the stage with a black carpet, so we couldn't see anything.  Ida was standing behind me and Thea behind her. I got a little nervous because I couldn't see or feel Thea, but I talked to her. We got a friend of ours to get us something to drink, so that was okay. I was just afraid that I would get electrocuted; I was standing right next to all of these chords and everything.

When the carpet got pulled away, everybody started to scream like maniacs! And of course, I screamed too. Mat came out, and oh my God, he was hot! He was wearing a leatherjacket and he filmed us all, while they played the first song.

The concert was just plain amazing. Mat was so cute; during the chorus of Snowblinded he pointed at me and smiled. If you don't know, the chorus goes something like this:

I just want you to know, I think you're beautiful.
I just need you to know, how much I care.

So of course I got a bit fangirl'ish. And they played some of their old songs, like Kennedy and Crazy Angel, two of my favorites. I missed Unwanted, but it was okay. And I got Greg's guitar pick. I think one of my favorite parts of the concert, was when they played Crazy Angel.

After the concert we went downstairs and got some autographs and pictures taken. I wasn't sure that John could sign the pick I got, so I said: !Draw a little heart!" He drew the heart and signed it. Great, I looked a bit like a crazy fangirl.

I got pictures taken with Simon and Laurence, and afterwards I heard them talking about me. Don't know what they said, but I heard one of them say: "She was…" They probably said I was skinny or something. When they had to hold around me, they squeezed me so hard! They were like PINCHING me! Auch.

Thea, Ida and I spotted Mat and Ida hugged him. He was about to turn to someone, when I jumped forward and hugged him. He laughed a bit, and the fans around me laughed, and hugged back. Quite embarrassing. I got a picture taken with him and with Michael.

An hour or so later, Thea and I got invited to some kind of "afterparty" with Kill Hannah, but a bar in the middle of the night on Istedgade? No thank you. So we went home.

NEXT UP:
Medina and Dúné at Køge Festuge.

Ringsted Festival '10!

Thea and I went to the festival spot at about 4.30pm Thursday and after a bit of struggling we met Kevin, got our bracelets and got in. They were still trying out the sound, putting up stuff and such and we got to our booth (read: steel cage) where we met Lise. We found out that our booth were in a perfect place; we could see the big stage, which was great!

Thea on the first day.

This day went by really chill; we listened to Mike Tramp from our booth and met Henning and his new girlfriend. Henning is my dad's cousin's husband. My dad's cousin died a few years ago, and I hadn't really seen Henning since that, so it was nice seeing him again! I also met my dad, who was drunk as fuck! But he was amusing. At some point Thea and I went for a walk around the grounds with our friends, Katja and Andreas. There were a lot of cool stalls, where you could buy ANYTHING! I actually bought a pair of panties! We also got to see the Love Island. Kind of gross, really. There were a bar, couches and they played old, Danish music.

We went back to our booth and some other friends, Wiimh and her boyfriend Marc, came by. They waited with us for an hour or so, and then we went to see Rasmus Seebach at the big stage. Our spot wasn't really that good, but we could see everything! Rasmus Seebach was great and in the middle of the second song I fought my way up to 5th row or so. But I decided to go back to the others. Thea went back to the booth; her, Kevin and I had gone to see Rasmus and Lise wanted to see him too. Katja, Andreas, Kevin and I went a little closer to the stage and just danced and sang along to all the great songs! Thea came back and we saw the rest of his performance. He played his biggest hit "Engel" twice, and even though I kind of hate the song I couldn't help but have fun!

Afterwards Thea and I went home, and apparently I fell asleep kind of quick. Hmmm, guess I was tired!

Next morning we got up quite early… Or Thea did. I demanded that she was the one to shower first, so I could sleep a little more. We both got some breakfast, put on some make-up and my mom drove us to the festival spot. And she gave us both a Red Bull, woo! We came about an hour before Magtens Korridorer played, and after getting settled Thea and I ran to the big stage.

It was SO hot and I was wearing a Ringsted Festival tee; black, thick fabric… Unbearable. But Magtens Korridorer was great live, and Johan (the leadsinger) had a great energy!

Afterwards Thea and I went back to "work". We listened to Thomas Helmig and Medina, who both played on the big scene, while we played cards. I also got to read a little, and I met one of my neighbors, Marianne, who worked in one of the bars.

At about 8.50pm Thea and Kevin left, so they could hold a good spot for us in the tent, where Dúné was going to play about half an hour later. I waited for Lise to come back, and then I ran like a mad man! Bad thing was; I couldn't remember where the tent was! Damn. But I found it and fought my way up to Thea. We were standing at 4th or 3rd row, with some tall person in front of me and a stupid ass bitch dancing next to me. The bitch kept hitting me in the face with her arm, on purpose. Yes, she told one of her friends that she wanted to push me back. Well… I pushed back and got up on 2nd row. Bitch.

I had seen Dúné live once before, and they were really great back then. They certainly didn't disappoint me; they had so much great energy and I couldn't help but get so happy! Some highlights were; Ole smiling at me, Ole locking eyes with me and making a kissing motion with his lips, holding hands with Mattias… Aw!

Afterwards we got our pictures taken with Mattias, Piotrek and Danny. I feel proud; I was the first one to ask for pictures. But it was kind of embarrassing, because there was this weird table between us and the guys.

Thea, Katja, Andreas and I went to get something to drink while Dizzy Mizz Lizzy played. We danced around the festival and went to another tent, to see DJ Kato and Morten Breum. We got a great stopped, had fun, partied and danced! There’s not much to say about the DJs other than they did great; Kato actually played an unreleased, all new song! A couple of minutes into Morten Breum’s set I got really ill and we decided to leave.

Not much to say after that. The festival was great and I am SO going to go back next year! If there's a "cellphone charging booth" next year, I'm going to work there. For sure!

Finally it's up, huh? Sorry, that I haven't blogged that much but I'm going to make up for it as soon as possible with a lot of CONCERTS-posts (Kill Hannah, Dúné x 2 and Medina) and lots of other great stuff! Stay tuned.
